ACTE Postsecondary CTE Summit 2026
Thursday September 17, 2026 1:15pm - 2:00pm EDT
Community and technical colleges are critical hubs for building adult learners’ literacy, numeracy, and digital skills, often with limited resources. This session shares early findings from a national landscape scan, highlighting college–employer partnerships, gaps in coordination and investment, and opportunities to better align CTE pathways to workforce mobility.

Who should attend this session: CTE educators, faculty, administrative staff, policy makers, instructional designers, employers

Participants will:
1) Understand how literacy, numeracy, and digital skills shape access to higher-quality jobs and career mobility
2) Explore evidence-based models that connect foundational skills to career pathways
3) Translate session insights into actionable strategies that improve alignment across education, workforce systems, and employer demand

We will share data and engage in a participant discussion. We will share a QR code to learn more about the results of this study and connect with the community and technical colleges highlighted.
