Dr. Joy Vann-Newton, formerly Vann-Hamilton, is the Founder and CEO of the nation’s first African-American and woman-owned career and technical school. RW2 Career and Technical Education (RW2), is a nonprofit proprietary school with a mission of changing the FACE; closing the gap in the nation’s technically skilled workforce. RW2 helps adult learner prepare and skill up for careers in the technically skilled workforce through short-term education, training, and certification. Dr. Joy is also a proud NextLevel Alum, Cohort 6.
