About me
Meghan Eggleston is a higher education leader with over 19 years of experience advancing student success. As Dean of Student Services at Patrick & Henry Community College, she oversees Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Dual Enrollment, Veterans Services, Accessibility Services, and Student Support Services, ensuring a coordinated, student-centered approach. A cornerstone of Dr. Eggleston’s work is her collaboration with regional K–12 school divisions. She has led dual enrollment efforts for more than a decade, strengthening academic pathways, expanding college access, and improving college readiness. She has also secured grant funding to support career coaching and rural student success initiatives, creating lasting impact for students and their communities. She holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education from Liberty University, a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Old Dominion University, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Virginia Tech.
