About me
Dr. Love is a Professor and Director of CTE programs for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. He also oversees the Work-Based Learning and Career Counseling certificate programs, and the Engineering and Technology teacher preparation program. Dr. Love is an Authorized OSHA Trainer for General Industry and is nationally recognized for his work related to safety within CTE and STEM labs. Prior to UMES he was an Assistant Professor of Elementary/Middle Grades STEM Education at Penn State University’s Capital Campus. Dr. Love has a bachelor’s degree in Technology Education from UMES, and master’s and doctorate degrees in Integrative STEM Education from Virginia Tech. He also earned a graduate certificate in Higher Education Administration from Virginia Tech. Dr. Love currently oversees four degree and four certificate programs related to CTE at UMES.
