About me
Virginia Zimmerman serves at the Perkins V Postsecondary Program Specialist for the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) Employment and Training (E&T). Virginia provides grant management, administration, and technical support for 28 community colleges, three public universities and one tribal college. With emphasis on serving special populations, she works with the Perkins V recipient institutions with the goal to improve Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs by supporting professional development, program improvement, curriculum development, evaluation, assessment, and support services. She works in coordination with the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) in these efforts.
